Our Story

A little spa with a big heart

A spa made just for kids, where self care feels like play.

Primped & Proper is a small children's spa in Battle Creek, Michigan. We opened in November 2023 to give kids a luxury spa like experience. It is a happy place made just for your little one.

Owner Shannon Patrick started the spa with one big idea. Kids deserve to feel pampered and special too. We introduce them to a world of self care that feels like play.

A visit is calm, warm, and full of smiles. Every child gets the ultimate princess or prince treatment. We can't wait to primp you the proper way!

This was the perfect birthday experience for my daughter. We had a total of four girls, all very excited to be there. The Primped and Proper team were all very nice and super patient with the girls. When we arrived she asked all of the girls their names & she remembered every single one it was so personable. My daughter felt so special! Her and her birthday guest had mani’s pedi’s & made lip gloss and slime. We also got to snap some really good pictures, the space was very elegant!

Our daughter celebrated her 10th birthday with a group of friends at Primped and Proper and had the BEST time! The girls all received facials, manicures, and pedicures, as well as fancy drinks and snacks. The whole experience was very professional, and the three stylists did an amazing job of engaging the energy of 12 girls! This was such a wonderful and memorable experience, and all of the girls highly recommend it!
